Here is my question: am I going to run into any errors opening these sessions after the reformatting has happened? Please correct me if I am not handling this the right way or if you have any suggestions, I am trying to make sure everything will be compatible before I make this switch.
If you use the drive with only one type of. Works with Windows and Mac without needing to reformat. The drive can be formatted for either Windows (NTFS) or Mac (HFS+). Up to 5TB of massive capacity portable external hard drive for file backup. My Glyph is still formatted for NTFS, if I was going to switch to MAC I will need to re-format this drive, my steps were going to be as follows: FIRST LOOKS BUSINESS LaCie Little Big Disk Quadra 450 list O O O 0 O PROS Quick. I found out the hard way a few months ago when trying to transfer files from a MAC onto this drive that my Glyph is formatted in NTFS which is only PC friendly, after some studying I found that the best way to share a hard drive between PC/MAC would be formatting it exFAT (as long as the operating systems are running a newer version) I currently run Pro Tools on a PC and I am thinking about making the switch over to a MAC I save all of my sessions/audio files onto an external Glyph hard drive.
